Christmas Day

After opening gifts, we had a yummy omelet Lynae had made for breakfast. Jeff and ShaRee and their family came back later that morning. It was so fun to have the day with cousins! We just played and relaxed. We all ended up staying for a couple days - so fun!

Cute Brenly and Kate!
One of the hits of the season was the Wii! The kids loved it! We loved it too! I think our favorite was Mario Cart. We had some fun tournaments!

I guess we found out what Lincoln really wanted for Christmas. He was carrying around Mylee's baby all over the place! Each of those little ones seemed to have a baby in their hands all the time!

I love this picture of Logan sitting by Lincoln. It doesn't get much better than that!

Christmas Morning!

I think we all had a rough night sleep, so we were all grateful when the morning finally came! Christmas morning is always just so fun to see the excitment! The best part was seeing the children open presents from each other that they had made. Logan was especially excited about the Teepee he had made for Adam and Carter. Such a fun day!

As is tradition, everyone gets on the stairs for a picture before going out to see what Santa has brought!

More PJ pictures!! After the kids were all ready for bed, we had a talent show where Adam and Logan played some Christmas songs and Liz and Carter sang. Jeff and ShaRee sang too. It was fun. Then we acted out the Nativity. It was fun to see the 3 boys being the 3 Wise Men. They took their part seriously! When it was their turn to take gifts to the baby Jesus, they all bowed and presented their gifts at the same time. Unfortunately our camera died so we didn't get a picture of that! It was so fun to see their excitment of putting out the milk and cookies and carrots. Christmas is so magical!

All the cousins on Christmas Eve
We finally got Lincoln to get his pajamas on too - he loved them once he saw the other boys had them too

Santa's Gifts

It was fun opening up a present Christmas Eve. The children got way fun pajamas, Greg got some nice basketball shorts, and I got a fun trifle bowl! It was fun to watch the kids. New pajamas brought new life into them. They were prancing through the house dancing and singing - I'm sure being Christmas Eve had nothing to do with it!

Lincoln seemed to like Grandpa's gift the best. He used the USC pillowcase as a cape!

Christmas Eve

We had such a fun surprise on Christmas Eve. Grandma and Grandpa arranged for Santa to stop by before his very busy evening to give each of us a fun Christmas Eve gift! Santa called each of us up to give us a present. Each of the children loved it except for Lincoln (as you can see). As soon as Santa said his name, he started shaking his head and saying, "No!" I took him up there, but he didn't want to have anything to do with Santa or the present he was given! We were just cracking up!

Grandma even got a present from Santa!

Adam's Christmas Party

Adam's 1st grade class put on a number of Christmas plays for the kindergarteners and the parents before their Christmas party. It was fun to watch them perform. Adam was a toy soldier! I wish I had pictures of Logan's, but Brenly had the flu during his party!

Goodbye Max

After trying for a couple months to give Max away, and no takers, we decided to let the animal shelter have him. He was a good dog, but a little bit too big for our kids. We think we are done with pets for awhile - except our chickens - those are pretty low maintenance. The kids were still too scared of him - so much so that they had stopped going outside unless he was tied up! We should have definitely trained him more - but didn't have the time. We hope he finds a good home!

Joy School Program

It has been so fun having Joy School with all little girls. They were so cute acting out the Nativity for the Christmas Program. Brenly got to be Mary, and Logan volunteered (I guess you could say bribed) to be Joseph - since we kind of needed a boy!

Let it Snow!

We didn't quite get snow like last year, but when it did snow off and on, the kids had a great time playing outside! Greg was so good to take them for rides on the sleds and build snowmen with them. Lincoln loved it too - as long as he didn't have to wear gloves and a hat so that he could still suck his thumb and twirl his hair!

Nice little snowman! - Just Lincoln's size!

Logan was very proud of his snowman!

Little Broncos

We wanted to surprise Doug and Lynae with a picture of all the grandkids in their BSU attire. The time we scheduled to get them all together was on Emma's birthday. Lynae was going to be in California, but then got sick, so she and Doug were there too! We tried to be sneaky about it, but getting this many kids to stay still for a picture made a little more noise than we thought! Doug and Lynae were downstairs, so by the time we were done, I'm sure hearing "Say Broncos" and "Say Cheese" was a little bit of a give away. But they won't see the picture until Christmas!

The die hard Bronco fans!
Go Little Broncos!

We had to give the 3 little ones suckers in hopes to keep them sitting still!

Sleepover

We had a fun sleep over with the cousins. They really wanted to watch a movie together, so we filed them all on the couch! They still all fit - as long as Savannah and Lincoln were on laps. It's so fun that they love each other so much - and can all squish on a couch for a couple of hours!
