More Ward Camp Out

Lincoln's face about summs up our camp out - so fun, really dirty, and now I'm ready for a nap! I think he was asleep within one minute of driving home!

We always look forward to our ward camp out. We went to Tripod Meadows again. It was so much fun. There were lots of fun activities planned from a scavenger hunt, and baseball, to an obstacle course. I couldn't believe how tiring it was! We had to swing from a rope, run up the mountain a little ways, get on a bike and ride down the trail, hop off and run across the stream while getting water dumped on you from the kids, then run back up to your bike and back to the starting!

Swimming Lessons

The kids loved taking swimming lessons from Aunt Kara and Stacie. They did really well - it always helps to be at Grandma's house. Adam and Logan were both swimming by themselves by the end of the two weeks, and Brenly was jumping off the diving board to Stacie! Lynae was so kind and thoughtful of us. She fed us lunch every day we were there. It was definitely a very fun two weeks of the summer

Fireworks!

The kids enjoyed doing fireworks at Grandma and Grandpa's. We did a few little ones, and ended the night with some awesome big ones! The ride home was fun too - it was like a constant fireworks show!

After having lunch with the Walkers, we headed Grandma and Grandpa Hymas' for swimming, barbeque, and fireworks!

The Fourth of July parade is always a good time! The kids gathered lots of candy and even got cooled off by the fire trucks at the end. We enjoyed sitting by our good friends - the Walkers.

With the warmth of summer, we decided to shed some heat from the boys - their hair! It was a fun haircut to watch. We started with Logan, then Adam, and ended with Lincoln! They loved it. Well, we kind of had to hold Lincoln down! Logan commented, "Now we look like Bishop Betzold!"
