Cleaning up the garden! The kids love getting rides with dad on his machine

We were with cousins over General Conference, and while Greg and I attended our first Chaplain Conference. Fun to have everyone together!

So we're heading in the direction of a military family! While Greg was doing a home show, a guy stopped at his booth to talk about a fence. Greg started asking him what he did for a living, and the guy told him he had been a Chaplain. Greg said he immediately felt the Spirit really strong - almost to the point of tears, and felt that it was something he should look into. He drug his feet for a couple months, but then called military relations for the church. Another amazing thing was that Greg remembered Frank Clawson's name (the head of military relations for the church) - he had given a presentation on being a Chaplain when Greg was in the seminary teaching program at BYU. So we went to the Chaplain Conference and met the most amazing people there - we both feel good about it, and will keep pressing forward. It will take some time, as Greg will have to complete a Masters of Divinity. He is getting his Masters online through Lubbock Christian in Texas. Change is coming!
